hit and run

Not your typical understanding of hit and run

Some people find their thing fast.

They run businesses, dropshipping stores, sell retail products, anything else and hit big.

That’s great!

But for the rest of us still figuring it out, maybe we still haven’t found what we really want to do yet. That’s okay.

90% of people don’t. I’m one of them too, most of the time, haha.

I started working when I was 14.

I’ve been a waitress, a teacher, a retail sales, a promoter, did MLM, worked in insurance, became a developer, designer, manager, investor… nearly 2 decades of figuring things out.

And even now, I’m glad that I still in full experiment mode, talking to people, building, learning to see business from different lenses.

Some ideas click, some don’t.

But every hit teaches me something, and every run sharpens my instincts.

That’s the rhythm: hit, learn, run, repeat.

Lean Startup mindset:

Launch fast, test early, fail small, learn quickly.

Instead of waiting for the perfect moment or product, I just try things.

This weekend (May 3–4), I’m joining a paid class to learn from experts, to gain more clarity, and I hope it will be life-changing.

Gather feedback. Adjust. Run again.

It’s not always winning but it works. Action creates clarity. Stay tuned for more updates about the classes!

Of course, people will say things like:

“You’ll waste time,”

“You’ll make mistakes,”

“Someone already tried that, it didn’t work,”

“Do this instead, it’s safer and for your own good.”

And maybe they’re right—for them.

But just because it didn’t work for them doesn’t mean it won’t work for us.

This is our story, not theirs.

Take advice, yes—but don’t hand over the wheel.

Own your route. Own your process. And once you find what works for you, lock in.

Go deep. Go hard.

Let them call it obsession. You’ll call it home.

I used to wonder what it felt like to take a career break when my friends told me they are doing this, not working a full-time job, starting their own business, etc.

It’s been 5 months now and I’m loving it.

My life is finally quiet enough for me to hear myself think.

It feels clean. Clear.

Exploring business ideas, meeting new people, building things, evolving.

I love my life right now and I hope you do too.

Happy Labour Day.

May we all find something we love so much, we forget to call it work.

Stay curious. Stay building.

Hit. Learn. Run. Repeat.

Catch you next week,

Peggy.T
